Anti-corruption

A large part of government expenditure is disbursed through the procurement system and this naturally opens the possibility of corrupt practices in the procurement cycle. Corruption in procurement can take many forms and can occur in all stages of the procurement cycle from identification of needs and developing specifications/statement of works to the actual competitive process and the certification of goods/services/works delivered and the payment cycle.
