The United nations Environment Program (UNEP), with the support of the Swiss Federal Office for the Environment, is carrying out a study to assess the impacts of sustainable public procurement on sustainable development. The study is undertaken in the framework of the Capacity Building for Sustainable Public Procurement project[/i">.
UNEP has partnered with our consulting company (FACTEA Durable and Ms. Christelle Monteillet) to select and develop 8 case studies that will showcase the impact of SPP on various sustainable development indicators.
In this context, we are looking for specific public procurement contracts of sustainable goods and services, such as: energy-efficiency computers, organic food in canteens, office equipment made of environmentally sustainable timber, construction of energy performant buildings and supply of electricity from renewable sources, (...).
We are calling on government entities and interested organizations and experts to contribute to the study by sharing information and data on specific sustainable public procurement contracts/activities.
If you are interested to contribute to the study, please let us know. Do not hesitate if you need any further information.
