Savings through procurement reforms

"The Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) on Monday put the total savings of the Federal Government based on the implementation of the public procurement Act over the last six years at about N572 billion.
The Bureau disclosed that while a total of N450 billion was saved
for the five year period 2007 - 2011, about N122 billion was saved
last year consequent upon the Bureau's initiatives targeted at
ensuring that procurement contracts follow due process and that all
