Local Government e-procurement in the UK

The Cambridgeshire County Council has started a new platform for local government e-procurement:

'The site is a self-service interactive website where Cambridgeshire councils or public services register and place notices of procurement and contract opportunities. Businesses and other organisations can register and receive e-mail alerts for any procurement opportunities in their chosen area of business.

'The procurement opportunities can be anything from organisations seeking quotes, to full scale formal EU tender processes.'
