“Transforming Public Procurement in East Africa” - 2nd East African Procurement Forum

Nairobi, 19-21 August 2009 - REGISTRATION IS STILL OPEN TO ALL INTERESTED

Procurement professionals and specialists from Kenya, Burundi, Rwanda, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia and the Government of South Sudan, as well as experts from development partners, such as USAID, the Worldbank and GTZ, and other interested African Countries, will participate in the 2nd East African Procurement Forum, hosted by the Public Procurement Oversight Authority (PPOA) of Kenya.

The theme of the forum will be Transforming Public Procurement in East Africa and topics to be discussed include, enforcement of public procurement laws, e-procurement, capacity development, prospects on harmonization of procurement systems and the roles of SME’s and PPP’s in public procurement.
