Date: 2009-06-24

Africa - South Africa

The website for the British Academy funded project on public procurement in Africa has now been launched.

The project, which commenced in 2009 and is funded under the British Academy's UK-Africa Academic Partnerships, is conducted in collaboration primarily between two African universities, the Universities of Stellenbosch and Western Cape, and the Public Procurement Research Group (PPRG) at the University of Nottingham in the UK.

The website aims to facilitate research on public procurement regulation in Southern Africa. It contains an overview of the British Academy funded project, a bibliography of materials on Southern African public procurement regulation as well as links to other sources of information on procurement.
