Regional Procurement Workshop

Cairo, Egypt, 31 March - 1 April 2009 - This Regional Procurement Workshop was organised by the OECD Joint Venture on Procurement in collaboration with the Egyptian Government, the World Bank, DFID and UNDP. The purpose of the workshop was to inform and raise awareness of Government procurement decision-makers and specialists, and of representatives from the Egyptian private sector and civil society, with the public procurement system assessment methodology of the OECD DAC Joint Venture on Procurement. The workshop was attended by representatives from five Arab States.
Kirsten Ejlskov Jensen, Procurement Capacity Development Advisor from PCDC, participated in the workshop and gave a presentation on: Linking the Results of the Assessment to Procurement Capacity Development.
